WORKSHOPS

I run occasional workshops which explore painting in a bold, playful and experimental way. Workshops are inclusive, intimate and held in interesting spaces around Cornwall.

Subjects centre around contemporary floral compositions and objects collected through foraging along the Cornish coastline. Where possible we get outdoors and into gardens to draw and always warm up with a series of drawing exercises designed to free the mind (and hand!).

Join artist Lucy Innes Williams for a colourful, expressive floral painting workshop celebrating the new growth of Spring.

Sprout! will be a three-hour painting session to coincide with Lucy’s Trebah exhibition, The Nursery.

Warm up exercises focused on seasonal floral arrangements will move into time for a finished bouquet in acryla gouache with inks. The workshop will include a brief visit to Trebah’s Court Garden for warm-up exercises. All materials provided and no experience necessary.

Cut, Stick, Collage It is a three hour creative workshop to coincide with Lucy’s Trebah exhibition, The Nursery. Using hand-painted papers, magazines, paints, stickers, stamps and more, let your floral imagination run wild.

Warm up mini-collages focused on seasonal floral arrangements will develop into time for a finished collage composition to hang on your own wall.
