Artist Fieldtrip : Fisherman's Creek

Fisherman's Creek is a special place, tucked away deep along the Helford River in west Cornwall. Its obvious literary references aside, it is a magical, sleepy riverway full of birds, flowers, and inlets.

I was staying nearby at Kestle Barton and took a long, slow walk along the creek and the village of Helford stopping to draw and note down shapes and colours I liked along the way.
