I run occasional workshops that explore painting in a bold, fun and experimental way. Subjects often centre around floral composition and seaweed, shells and other found objects collected through foraging along the Cornish coastline. I love talking about paint, interesting media and discussing the merits of one sort of paper over another.
I am always on the look out for interesting venues (near beaches and good foraging grounds!) , and so if you have any ideas, don't be shy - drop me a line and say hello!
Workshops will be advertised via my newsletter which you can sign up to via my homepage, here and on my Facebook page.
BEACH BOUNTY PAINTING WORKSHOP
ST MICHAELS RESORT
13th March 2020
18:00 - 20:30
Join this creative painting workshop, play with brightly-coloured paints and experiment with pattern in celebration of all that the beaches of Falmouth and its surrounds has to offer.
Hosted in the Wine Vaults at St Michaels Resort, Falmouth. Bring along your foraged finds to the workshop and think about the richness of colour and texture that can be drawn from seaweed, shells, pebbles and sea glass.
Leave the workshop feeling inspired and proud owner of your very own A4 painting ready to put into the frame provided at the workshop.
Abundant table decorations and artist Lucy Innes William's own finds will be arranged to inspire.
No painting experience necessary and all equipment is provided. Join Lucy in the gorgeous space of the Wine Vaults and as we run through warm up exercises, painting and maybe even a little bit of frame decoration.
Please note that the minimum age for the workshop is 14. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
